Black Nativity on Stage at Kings Art Complex

‘Tis the season to enjoy the “Holiday spirit” with Nia Performing Arts Inc. and the cast of Black Nativity.

Black Nativity takes the stage in the Pythian Theater at The King Arts Complex (867 Mount Vernon Avenue Columbus) this Saturday Dec 15 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Come and enjoy the Timeless Langston Hughes Classic about the Birth of Jesus set in Africa and present-day church. The central message of the Christmas narrative is the coming of Jesus, the Messiah to the earth. Come experience the energetic presentation by a cast of actors, dancers, singers and musicians who will bring into focus the true meaning and object of Christmas.

This year’s cast will demand the audiences to listen attentively to the true message of Christmas. It is not about the giving and/or receiving of gifts; it is not about the eating, drinking and making merry; it is not even about the coming together of family and friends. Christmas is about the Babe of Bethlehem, the Prince of Peace, and the King of Kings. It’s all about Jesus!

General tickets are just $20 and member tickets are $15. Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite.com, in person or over the phone at The King Arts Complex at (614) 645-KING or Nia Performing Arts at (614) 848-3550.
