What happens when you mix the creative imagination of a child with the skills of a talented glass artist? A masterpiece that reminds us that our imaginations are the only limit when it comes to glass art.

Glass Axis (610 W Town St Columbus) has partnered with local Columbus Elementary Schools to bring you the 3rd Annual Fantastical Creatures Gallery Exhibition. Every Tuesday-Saturday through Saturday Jun 30 you can come check out this one of a kind exhibit.

Students from Columbus Preparatory Academy, Duxberry Elementary and Herbert Mills were asked to draw an imaginary creature and write a story about it. Their teachers then submitted these drawings and stories to Glass Axis. From all of these, 11 designs were chosen to turn into three-dimensional pieces of glass art. For a full list of chosen students, visit https://glassaxis.org/fantastical-creatures-gallery-exhibition/.
