A must-see exhibit is coming to Franklin Park Conservatory, and it will not be one soon forgotten.

The Greater Columbus Sister Cities International, with generous support from Columbus City Council, will be highlighting the work of photographer Emanuele Timothy Costa from Columbus’ first sister city, Genoa, Italy.

The Thousand People of Genoa exhibit will be open from Mar 26 through Apr 14 at multiple locations, including Cultural Arts Center, Columbus Museum of Art, The John Glenn International Airport, Greater Columbus Convention Center and Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. For more information on these locations, please visit http://www.culturalartscenteronline.org/1000_people_of_genoa.

Come celebrate with Emanuele Timothy Costa at the Artist Reception on Friday Mar 30 from 6-8 p.m. at the Franklin Park Conservatory (1777 E Broad St Columbus) while appreciating his hard work and artistic touch.

This project was born when Timothy, working as a young photographer, wanted to convey the love for his city through the art of photography. He developed this experiential exhibition called Thousand People which represents Genoa through the faces of its residents.

While in Columbus, Timothy will begin a new chapter of the Thousand People project. He will photograph local residents of the Greater Columbus area to be a part of a collection titled Thousand People of Columbus that will be exhibited in our sister city of Genoa in 2019. You could be featured in his next exhibit!
