Ohio State Fair Providing Family Fun Since 1850!

 

The highly anticipated Ohio State Fair is finally here! This favorite family tradition has been providing fun for all since 1850!

The Ohio State Fair is happening at The Ohio Expo Center & State Fair (717 East 17th Avenue Columbus) from Jul 25 through Aug 5.

Enjoy a variety of activities including interactive education, free entertainment stages, a petting zoo, a fine arts show, sporting events, a farm animal delivery room, roving performers, agricultural competitions, fun rides, horse shows, an 8-acre natural resources park with free kiddie fishing and much more! Come hungry – the Fair offers goodies from nearly 200 food vendors!

Hours of operation:

Admission gates: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. (Except Aug 5, until 7 p.m.)

Commercial exhibit buildings: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.*

Youth Center: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.*

Janis Center: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Rides: 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. (open until midnight Fridays and Saturdays)

*Some buildings have reduced hours on Aug 5.

General admission prices:

$10 – Adults 13-59

$8 – Seniors 60+

$8 – Children 5-12

Free – Children under 5

$6 – Advance sale admission tickets

Ride prices

$25 – Ride-All-Day Wristband Vouchers

$20 – Advanced Sale Wristbands (available through Jul 24 only)

$1 coupons – select kiddie rides require one coupon; super kiddie and spectacular rides require two coupons; super spectacular rides require three coupons. Special ride-all-day wristbands are available for $25; advance-sale ride-all-day wristband vouchers are available for $20 through Jul 24 only (see above).

Rides are operational 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. (open until midnight Fridays and Saturdays). Vouchers must be purchased by Jul 25 for mobile or print at home; advance-sale Midway ride-all-day vouchers will no longer be available beginning the first day of the Fair, Jul 25.

Parking

$5 per vehicle (easy access to AAA Parking Lots from I-71 at the 17th Avenue exit and the Hudson Street exit at Silver Drive. Handicapped parking available. Ride the complimentary AAA Courtesy Shuttles to and from the main entrance gate and your vehicle.)
