Grab those lighting speed sneakers! It’s time for some Running with the Buckeyes!

The 9th Annual Running with the Buckeyes 5k, hosted by the Athletic Training Club at Ohio State, will be held at Fred Beekman Park (2200 Carmack Road Columbus) this Sunday Apr 22.

The Athletic Training Club at Ohio State is a recognized student organization within the university that aims to promote the profession of athletic training and provide service around the community.

Proceeds from our race will be donated to Advocates for Injured Athletes, an organization that supports the health and safety of athletes by providing the resources and education to keep them safe.

The cost to participate in this event for students is only $30 and $35 for non-students. You can register online at https://endurancecui.active.com/new/events/52186151/select-race?_p=47381742016044015&e4q=b118e53d-c39a-459a-9d34-c01ed1db7812&e4p=7c295049-9394-41cd-b9f2-fe940d9cc6db&e4ts=1524018550&e4c=active&e4e=snawe00000000&e4rt=Safetynet&e4h=3439c65ebee2cccd4359652ad2dcd0f8.

Every participant will receive a goodie bag, which includes a t-shirt and entry to the race-day raffle. The raffle will feature prizes such as signed OSU memorabilia and gift cards to local businesses. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Kosta Karageorge Memorial Scholarship Fund. This is an OSU Athletics scholarship in honor of the late wrestler and football player, whose untimely death left a profound impact on the members of OSU’s Athletic department, including the Athletic Training staff and students.

Packet pick-up will be on Saturday Apr 21 from 4-7 p.m. at Road Runner Sports (535 Lakeview Plaza Blvd Worthington). Check-in is on Sunday Apr 22 at 3:30 p.m. and the race starts at 4:30 p.m. For more information, please visit https://sites.google.com/site/atclubosu/running-with-the-buckeyes.
