It’s time to Head for the Cure!

The very first Head for the Cure 5K Run/Walk is happening this Sunday Apr 15 at Genoa Park (303 W Broad St Columbus).

Head for the Cure raises funds, awareness and hope for the brain tumor community. Funds raised benefit the Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative and the Neuro-Oncology Novel Therapies and Research Fund at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James).

The cost for individuals and teams for the 5K Walk/Run is only $40 and the Kid’s Fun Run (100-yard dash for children 10 and under) is only $15. Registration can be completed online at https://secure2.convio.net/hftc/site/TRR/Events/General/905525244?pg=utype&fr_id=1513.

Packet pick-ups will be on Saturday Apr 14 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at FrontRunner (1344 W Lane Ave Columbus). Race day packet pick-up and registration will begin at 7 a.m. The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. (runners in front and walkers in back). The Kid’s Fun Run begins at 9:15 a.m. Keeping the Faith Awards will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the 5K Race Awards will take place immediately following the 5K.
